True Lawn and Tree Care

Services

Everything we do —in plain English.

We’ll quote any of these on-site. The price you get is the price you pay — no surprise add-ons, no upsells.

  • Tree Trimming & Shaping

Mesquite, palo verde, ironwood, ash — structure cuts that hold up through monsoon, never topped, never lion-tailed.

Most calls in Apache Junction and the East Valley are mesquites and palo verdes that were never trained when they were young. We thin out crossing limbs, take weight off long lateral branches before July, and re-establish a leader where one was lost. We do not top trees. We do not lion-tail. Mesquites get structure cuts that respect how the species actually grows. Ironwoods we touch lightly and rarely. Ash and elm in older Mesa neighborhoods get a heavier seasonal pass.

  • Palm Skinning & Frond Pull

Date, queen, and Mexican fan — climbed, skinned clean, fronds and pods cleared. Up to about 65 feet.

Palms are climbed, never spiked unless the tree is already coming down. Date palms get fruit pods removed before they drop on the patio. Queens and Mexican fans are skinned to a clean diamond pattern, with the under-fronds cut flush. Clean-up included — no piles left on the gravel. We climb up to about sixty-five feet; anything taller, we partner with a rigging crew.

  • Tree Removal

Roped down piece-by-piece in tight yards, dropped whole when the lot allows. Insurance and a clean-up crew on every job.

Most Apache Junction lots are tight — block walls, pools, neighbors close. We rope removals down piece by piece so nothing lands wrong. On a clean lot we will drop the trunk in one piece if the geometry is right. Wood is bucked and hauled, brush chipped, the work area raked clean. Removal price is flat and quoted on-site after a walk; nothing changes once we start.

  • Stump Grinding

Ground six to twelve inches below grade, chips raked into the hole or hauled — you choose.

After a removal we bring the grinder back if the stump bothers you. We grind six to twelve inches below grade depending on what you plan to put in the spot. Chips can be left in the hole as natural backfill, raked across a planting bed, or hauled away. Surface roots within reach get knocked back so a future lawn or path sits flat.

  • Monsoon Hazard Assessment

Walk-through before July — what is going to fail, what to thin now, what is fine. No charge if you are already on a recurring schedule.

Every June we walk recurring customers through their trees and tag what wants attention before monsoon: long lateral limbs that will pendulum in a 60 mph gust, a co-dominant leader with included bark, a palm with too much frond load, a mesquite carrying half its weight on one side. You get a written summary and a price for each item — no obligation to do them all. Free for monthly customers. Sixty-five dollars for a one-off walk on a property we have not seen before.

  • Weekly or Bi-Weekly Mowing

Front, back, edges crisp, walks blown clean. Same morning every week, same crew.

Same crew, same morning, every week — that is the entire pitch. Mulch-cut by default, bagging on request. Edged at every visit. Blown clean across the gravel and the walks before we leave the gate. Cut height changes by season so the lawn keeps moisture in summer and never gets scalped.

  • Edging, Trimming & Bed Care

Power-edged borders, hand-pulled weeds in beds, hedges shaped — the small stuff that makes a yard look intentional.

Power-edged borders along walks, drives, and beds that stay sharp the whole week. String-trim around fences, posts, citrus, and saguaros — carefully. Beds hand-weeded; we do not blanket spray near edibles. Hedges shaped to look like someone tends them, not buzzed flat. A final blower pass so nothing carries over to the patio or the pool.

  • Frond, Leaf & Storm Cleanup

After a monsoon or a hard wind — fronds, pods, branches, the whole pile hauled. Same day if we can.

Storm calls and seasonal cleanups: palm fronds, mesquite pods, ash leaves, blown-down limbs, anything the wind left across your gravel. Loaded, hauled, dump fees included in the quote. Same day for recurring customers when the schedule allows; next-day at the latest. Monsoon week we run long.

  • Drip & Sprinkler Tune-Up

Drip emitters checked at every tree, broken heads swapped, a controller program that actually matches the season.

On a desert property, water is the tree. We check drip emitters at the trunk and the canopy edge — the canopy edge is where the feeder roots are — and re-program controllers so summer is not running on a winter schedule. Broken heads swapped, broken poly repaired, valve issues diagnosed. We do not install full new systems; we keep yours running.
